City of Angels Investment Group, LLC ("COAIG", "we", "us") operates the website coaig.com. Our mailing address is 72-811 Highway 111 #1066, Palm Desert, CA 92260, USA. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
This policy covers coaig.com and the services we offer through it: venture capital and investment services, rental property management, secured and unsecured investment loans, real estate and small-business consulting, and our government-contracting offerings — the Contracting Intelligence Series (CIS) of educational toolkits, guides, and prompt libraries, the Contracting Intelligence Platform (CIP) (in development), and COAIG Government Contracting Advisory services.
We describe the platform and any cloud or AI-assisted features as in development. This policy does not represent that those features are currently available or processing your information.
Information you give us. When you submit a contact or consulting inquiry form, request the Free Bid/No-Bid Checklist, or email us, we receive the details you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, company, and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically. If, and only if, you accept optional analytics on our cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 (loaded through Google Tag Manager) collects usage data such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, your approximate location, device and browser type, and interactions with certain buttons and links. Advertising features (ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization) stay disabled at all times. We do not use website retargeting, and we do not run cross-context behavioral advertising.
Technical and security logs. Our hosting and form providers record standard technical data needed to serve the site securely and deliver messages — for example IP address, request time, and browser type. This is used for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
Optional analytics is off by default. Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are not loaded until you click "Accept analytics". If you click "Reject analytics", they are never loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
We store your choice in a single first-party cookie named coaig_consent for up to 180 days so we can remember it. If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (for example _ga) to distinguish visitors.
Browser privacy signals. We treat Global Privacy Control (GPC) and the legacy Do Not Track (DNT) signal as a request to keep optional analytics off. If your browser sends either signal, analytics does not run — even if you previously accepted analytics on this site. Because your stored choice is not honored in that case, the cookie banner reappears on your next visit so the position is visible to you.
Embedded services are separate. Some parts of the site are loaded directly from other providers — the Zoho checklist form and the Google Map shown in our contact section. Those embeds can contact their own providers and set their own cookies independently of your analytics choice, and they are governed by those providers' privacy policies rather than this banner. Rejecting analytics does not block them. You can avoid them by not interacting with the embedded form or map.
You can change your analytics choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops further analytics collection, removes the analytics cookies we can access, and unloads the Google Tag Manager container so it is not re-injected. A request already sent before you withdrew cannot be recalled; the page reloads on withdrawal so previously loaded tags are torn down with the page session.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use customer lists for third-party advertising.
Our current advertising is limited to opt-in promotional email. We do not run website retargeting and we do not use your information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Optional promotional email. If you opt in, we may email you about our services and resources. You can opt in separately from requesting a resource, and opting in is never required to receive the Free Bid/No-Bid Checklist. Every promotional email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also contact us to be removed at any time.
Requested resources and essential messages. If you request a checklist or another resource, or contact us, we will send you the resource and any message needed to deliver it or respond to you. These are separate from promotional email and are not affected if you unsubscribe from marketing.
Email engagement data. Our email providers may record whether a message was delivered and, in some cases, whether it was opened or a link was clicked. We use this to understand whether our email is reaching people and is useful. It is not proof that a message was received or read — a message can be delivered successfully and never opened, and opening a message does not mean you agreed with or acted on its contents.
We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and respond to you:
Some of these providers process information in the United States and in other countries where they or their subprocessors operate. Where required, transfers are handled under the provider's own safeguards, described in the policies linked above.
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety, rights, or property of COAIG or others.
We keep personal information for as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, and for as long as the law requires us to keep it. For example, inquiry and service records are retained while maintaining our relationship with you and for the period required by applicable tax, accounting, and contract rules; analytics data is retained according to the retention setting on our Google Analytics account. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Because retention periods depend on the purpose and on legal requirements, we do not apply a single fixed deletion period to everything.
If you unsubscribe from promotional email, we keep a record of your request so we can continue to honor it (a suppression record). That record is kept so we do not contact you again, not to send you more email.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. California residents may also request details about the categories of information we collect and share. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is material — for example, if we add a new category of information or a new service provider — we will notify you in a way appropriate to the change, such as a notice on this site, before the change takes effect.
